GOOD4U Calorie Burner Works Fast! Here's how:

First of all, it's important to understand that there is no product, (pill, drink or powder) under the sun that will allow you to eat junk food each and every day, avoid exercise and still shed unwanted pounds.

It is possible however, to improve the efficiency of your metabolism and suppress your appetite at the same time. The first key ingredient in GOOD4U Calorie Burner is Green Tea Extract. A study reported in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that Green Tea Extract resulted in a significant increase in energy expenditure (a metabolism "boost").

The researchers also concluded that over a 24-hour period, Green Tea Extract increases the metabolic rate by 4%. These effects are probably due to the high concentrations of Cate-chin Poly-phenols found in Green Tea. These work to help intensify levels of fat oxidation and thermogenesis (the rate at which your body burns calories).

What does this mean in real numbers? Well, if your metabolic rate is 2500 calories per day, the extra boost would raise your metabolism to 2600 calories burned. Factor in also, GOOD4U Calorie Burner has Zero calories, so drinking it twice a day in place of a 16oz soda will save you another 360 calories. It begins to add up.

Also, the Cate-chins in Green Tea help to inhibit movement of glucose into fat cells. Green Tea may also act as a glucose regulator. It helps to slow the rise of blood sugar after a meal. This prevents high insulin spikes (lots of insulin promotes fat storage) and the subsequent fat storage.

That's not all! GOOD4U Calorie Burner also contains ingredients like Garcinia Cambogia, Yerba Mate and Resveratrol. Combined with great taste, affordable price and convenient locations, GOOD4U Calorie Burner is worth a try. Pick one up at Save On Foods, Choices, IGA, 7-11, London Drugs and now Mac's Convenience Stores across Western Canada.

The Aging Athlete Part I: Beginning Of The End or The End Of The Beginning:

Despite our differences in appearance, race, religion or nationality, there is one thing every single person on this planet has in common; Tomorrow we will be one day older than we are today. An obvious statement. But what does it really mean? Chronologically we age every day, but at what point do people or more specifically, athletes move from their prime to past their prime? Is it 35? 40? There is no correct answer because every sport is different, every individual is different and every training regime is different. In short it's a moving target. As someone who has competed in a variety of sports (football, wrestling and then power-lifting/strongman) at a high level from the age of 18, I had always been somewhat wary of the aging process and mindful that someday I would no longer be able to participate in the sports that I loved.

The reality was that it had already started. (By time I was 18, I was already out of the running for most sports but that is beside the point). Your athletic prime can be best defined as the ability to perform at your peak, repeatedly and consistently. The key words are actually "repeatedly" and "consistently" because that is one of the ways the aging process can sneak up on you.

Minor & Nagging Injuries

While major injuries either end a career or redirect it, quite often the rehabilitation process forces the athlete to alter his or her overall approach to their sport. It is the small or nagging injuries that sneak up on you, because you never see them for what they really are. From day 1 we are getting banged up or bruised, but what changes is the frequency with which these small injuries occur and the time it takes to recover from them. Eventually most athletes will accept that they are not going to get back to 100% unless they take an extended break to heal, but this leads directly to another hazard for the aging athlete.

Decline During Inactivity

I'm sure most of us remember old coaches or relatives saying "It's a lot tougher getting in shape, when you're older". Well, as most of us found out, or will come to find, they were right. Most sports run in cycles such as seasons and off seasons or events that require a period of intense training, followed by the event, followed by an "off period". Back in the day, it was quite common for players to start the season out of shape and play their way back into shape. This is much less likely these days as the salaries and business side of sports means that to do such you would be jeopardizing your career. This is also the reason we see athletes playing at high level much longer than they used to. Eventually if you let your condition deteriorate too far from your best, you won't make it back. We see this still in MMA and Boxing. Guys will allow themselves to get 30lbs, 40lbs or more above their competition weight. Their training camps become more about shedding pounds than honing technique. Which brings us to the third factor in the aging process.

Nutrition & Nutritional Supplements

Believe it or not, at one time it was quite common for professional athletes to be hung-over on game day, and then "sweat it out" before the game. Drinking to excess was part of the sporting culture. Other bad habits were prevalent as well, such as; fast food on the road, and believe it or not, smoking. These habits seam ridiculous today, but there are still quite a few practices around that, while not so blatantly bad, will also neither enhance nor preserve your career. Proper nutrition is the cornerstone to an active healthy life and in many ways nutrition ie more important than the taring you do.

Some people still doubt the importance of supplements due to both unrealistic claims that manufacturers make or imply, and poor quality that some suppliers use in order to cut costs. A third reason the public have become jaded against supplement claims are from what we in the industry call "fairy dust". That is sprinkling in a miniscule amount of an ingredient so that they can put it on the label in the hope that consumers won't look too closely or are unaware of how much a meaningful amount of that ingredient is. This is actually more prevalent in the largest corporations, including one that was caught in misleading the public on the amount of vitamins in their vitamin water.

Negative stories aside, supplements work! They work providing your body with the vitamins, minerals or amino acids that you need to take your physical demands further or to close the gap between what you aren't getting in your diet and what your body needs.

Are nutritional and supplement needs another moving target? They change as we get older and vary with each individual. As better nutritional practices and innovation in sport supplements gain acceptance and popularity, the positive results are again seen in the most competitive arena. GOOD4U Drinks play a small part in supporting athletes to be their best for as long as possible by providing high quality performance drinks with real ingredient amounts that are convenient and available at a reasonable price. (And we think they taste pretty good as well.) Nothing more, nothing less. Nagging injuries, inactivity and the lack of proper nutrition all hasten the aging process and push you out of your peak years.

The Benefits of Glutamine in GOOD4U System Reload:

The New GOOD4U System Reload will have 1000 mg of L Glutamine (up from the current 500mg) this is far and away the most glutamine in any sports drink available today. Many people don't know what glutamine is or how it can help them in their chosen sport. Protein builds your body, and amino acids build protein. glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in your body.

All the other amino acids in you would still equal less than 1/3rd of the glutamine in your body all amino acids are important, but adequate glutamine is critical It's found everywhere in your body including your brain, heart, lungs, stomach, muscles, liver, kidneys. Glutamine is essential in helping your body recover? It Helps build the protein within your muscles and helps prevent muscles from breaking down, it also helps restore glycogen levels which increases performance.

The overall benefit is recovery, from physical breakdown induced by training and in strengthening your immune system. When people get very sick, their glutamine levels become depleted. Numerous studies have shown that supplementing glutamine while recovering from various illnesses and surgeries actually speeds the process up. For many athletes, over-training is common. When you try and follow the regimes that top athletes do, you tend to over-train. Elite athletes commonly train 6 days a week because their bodies can recover. Without taking steroids, natural athletes will get burned out following these programs.

Aside from adequate nutrition Your body needs lots of rest. and glutamine to help you rebuild your body and recover quickly GOOD4U System Reload now has 1000mg of Glutamine along with other key components such as electrolytes. making in a convenient and powerful tool in your training arsenal. Regardless of which product you take make sure you include glutamine in your training routine...

GOOD4U Drinks Banned From All UFC/WEC Events:

Official word came this morning from Lorenzo Ferttita and Zuffa that any and all fighters appearing at a UFC event will no longer be allowed to display the GOOD4U Drinks logo. GOOD4U Drinks is seen by Zuffa as a direct competitor to Xenergy (which is owned by Zuffa) and AMP Energy which advertises heavily on both WEC events and Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter program and although GOOD4U are Sport Drinks NOT ENERGY DRINKS, they have been taking share from these brands. This is disappointing to me personally as I am a fan of the UFC and enjoyed our association with some of the great fights and fighters we have seen. As a company our sales have grown each month since we launched in May 2010 and will continue on this trend, we can redirect our advertising dollars into other sports/media/organizations. Our marketing strategy with respect to MMA has been to invest in the athletes over the promotions, because let's face it they are the ones that go out and bleed for 15 minutes in addition to making all of the sacrifices most of us don't see.

The athletes affected by this decision at UFC 121 are Chris Camozzi, Patrick Cote, Matt Hamill and Jon Madsen. As this decision has just come down today it will be virtually impossible for them to find alternate sponsorship. It has already been said many times that as much as any other sport, MMA fighters depend on sponsorship this isn't a cliche tis is a fact. For those of us that love the sport and want to see it grow, we should remember that there are companies out there that have the money and want to pay fighters. Shutting us out will only make it that much harder to support and develop new talent coming into the UFC.
